1.1 R&D center history.
Since 2001, the R&D center had been established and received many honors in the around 20 years. The R&D center undertakes the responsibility of developing the silicon carbide ceramics and bulletproof ceramics, key common technology, achievement transformation and full-chain innovation of industrialization. Main research areas:
(1) Basic research on advanced ceramic material science and preparation technology. Focus on basic and application research of various high-performance structural ceramics, engineering ceramics, advanced multiphase composite materials, honeycomb ceramics, conductive ceramics and lightweight structural materials, various of silicon carbide ceramic formula composition, molding technology and sintering technology.
(2) Engineering and industrialization of advanced ceramics. Taking advantage of the superior properties of advanced engineering ceramics such as high strength, high hardness, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, R&D department carry out engineering and industrialization research on carbides, nitrides and their composites, mainly including silicon carbide ceramic special-shaped parts, seals, guide wheels and bearing balls; High temperature and corrosion resistant materials; Honeycomb ceramics, environmental protection materials, etc. Silicon carbide ceramic brake pads, ceramic heat exchangers, electronic substrate materials, etc. Providing advanced engineering ceramic materials for modern industrial high-end manufacturing and promoting the upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry.
(3) Special advanced ceramic materials. ceramic-based composite materials, like C / SiC, SiCf / SiC and B4C / SiC.
(4) Special protective ceramics of military industry. Focus on the reaction bonded silicon carbide bulletproof ceramic plate, pressureless sintered silicon carbide armor plates, boron carbide armor plates, bulletproof ceramics of silicon carbide combined with boron carbide, lightweight, ultra-hard bulletproof ceramics of body armor and vehicle armor materials.
(5) Intelligent production and digital control technology. Like the special ceramic batching, mixing, stirring, refining, forming, drying, sintering, surface treatment, CNC process, quality inspection, etc.
1.2 Organization of the R&C department
The R&D department with one director and two deputy directors. We have a technical committee and an expert committee, with one director in each committee.
